Digital Spy have recently released three images and a syunopsis for The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith which you can veiw below.

Overall Story Synopsis: "Sarah Jane has met Peter Dalton and wants him to become part of her life; to become a father to Luke perhaps. But Clyde thinks Peter is hiding a secret or two of his own, especially when he and Rani find an empty house where Peter says his home should be..."

Part One Synopsis: "The Doctor returns on the happiest day of Sarah Jane's life - but a deadly trap is waiting for them all! As the strands of a clever and careful plan draw together, can even a Time Lord save Sarah Jane, on the day of her arch-enemy's greatest triumph?"

Part Two Synopsis: "The Doctor joins the battle - but is it too late to save both Sarah Jane and the Earth itself? As the power of the Pantheon of Discord grows in strength, the old friends are separated across different time zones, and must fight to save each other - but for one, there's a terrible price to pay."

Former companion to The Doctor and investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith returns for a third series of alien-busting adventures on CBBC this autumn.


This exciting series includes a special appearance from The Doctor, David Tennant, who joins The Sarah Jane Adventures – not just for a cameo appearance but for a full-blown starring role across two episodes


Sarah Jane's team includes her adopted son, Luke; his streetwise pal, Clyde Langer; their schoolmate, Rani, who lives opposite and has aspirations to become a journalist like Sarah Jane; and Mr Smith, their Xylok supercomputer, who resides in the attic. Add to that Sarah Jane's robot dog, K-9, and the team is set for six weeks of brand-new adventures.


Highlights include the introduction of a new alien race, the reptilian Veil, and their enemies the Judoon; an extraterrestrial girl who can make people play games against their will; a living painting; the inhabitants of a supposedly haunted house; monsters who want to infect the Earth with a strangely aggressive weed; and, finally, a chance for Sarah Jane to find personal happiness with someone who could be the perfect person to complete her family.


A brand new website will accompany the third series complete with a trailer maker, monster hunt, video diaries from the cast and web games plus exclusive behind the scenes videos.

Anna Friel Rumors

Rumors have started that Anna Friel, best known for her role in the American Comedy, Pushing Dasies as Chuck will appear in the Third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Shes apparantly gonna be playing an evil zombie life-sized doll that Sarah Jane and crew will battle with. Production for the Third Series of SJA will start in the coming months.
